From a personal perspective, I find teaching to be very enjoyable and rewarding. I also believe that, with my previous and broad business experience, together with my accumulated classroom teaching experience, I provide thoughtfully planned lessons that are effectively delivered. These lessons include modern pedagogical strategies incorporating tangible and relevant real-world examples, helping students access the content and achieve their learning goals. My overall aims are to engage, develop, and provide motivation for all my students and ensure their exam success. I previously worked in the UK finance industry in various roles with an accounting bias. I am a passed finalist (strategic level) of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants' examinations, which is equivalent to a Masters' degree in Finance. I gained a large amount of finance work experience, including communicating with people at various levels within those organization. I held a management position of a team of 7 staff and had experience training junior members for effective performance in their roles.
