My name is Cheryl. I am a certified ESE and English Professional teacher in Palm Beach County. I am currently working as an ESL teacher as well (tutoring both children and adults in this area.) I have 10 years experience working with special needs and regular education children (including ESL learners.) I also have six years experience tutoring college students. Therefore, My tutoring strengths include reading, mathematics, history, social studies, and language arts (including grammar and spelling). Born and raised in Hong Kong, I attended DGS until 9th grade and then moved to Boston to attend a private prep school. During my high school years, I assisted teachers during after-school programs at a local elementary school. I also taught ESL English at the Chinatown community center. At Columbia University, I studied Art History and Psychology which allowed me to further hone my critical reading and writing skills.
