I am a fully qualified teacher (from England) with over 15 years of experience teaching in schools and tutoring. I am fun, enthusiastic and dedicated with a wide range of experience teaching very young learners (3 years old) up to adults in various settings. Currently, I am based in Thailand, where I have taught English, Mathematics and Science using British, American and Singapore in International and EP schools. I also tutor students online in different countries using high quality digital resources. My lessons are planned to meet each students' learning abilities, interests and needs. My students thoroughly enjoy my classes and some have been learning with me for several years.

I am a Canadian-born Chinese who is bilingual in English and Cantonese, with English as my first language. I graduated from York University in Canada and have been a part-time private English tutor, teaching English reading and writing for over 15 years in Hong Kong for local and international school students. The core of my teachings includes English reading (spoken English, communication, presentation, and comprehension skills) and English writing (grammar, spelling, and punctuation) for students from pre-primary to secondary levels. In my language teaching, it is more than just reading and writing. Writing is the ability to express thoughts clearly in another language, requiring vocabulary, structure, and coherence. Hey there! My name is Monica and I'm a recent graduate looking to share my passion for literature and the English language with some eager (or not so eager - it happens) students. I'm 22 years old and I'm originally from Madrid, Spain, but I moved to The Hague when I was 10 years old and followed an English education from then on. Alike most of the kids in the international community I attended the American School of The Hague, where I completed the IB program. From there, I went on to study an English Literature Bachelor's and this year I finished an MA on Writing, Editing and Mediating. I'm a very bubbly, passionate teacher and I always aim to make classes as fun as possible while also being educational. I've had loads of experience tutoring, both volunteering to be a teacher assistant for two years as well as private one on one classes with students.
