As a teacher here in Thailand, i changed my approach to teaching writing focuses on helping students express their ideas clearly and confidently. I start by building a strong foundation in sentence structure, vocabulary, and grammar. Then, I guide students through the writing process step by step—brainstorming, organizing ideas, drafting, and revising. I provide constructive feedback that highlights both strengths and areas for improvement, so students can see their progress. I also use engaging writing activities and real-life topics to make lessons interesting and relevant. Over time, students develop not just better writing skills, but also a genuine appreciation for expressing themselves through writing.

I also give regular feedback and practice through short quizzes or games to keep lessons engaging and effective.

I ask guiding questions to help students think critically and make connections. Over time, this helps improve their comprehension, vocabulary, and confidence in reading.

Q: How do you help students with literary analysis and critical thinking skills?

This skill is my favorite and where I advance more. I studied phonetic language.
