Stanford MA Economics Grad- Math Tutor
Hello, I am a Math tutor for Grades 1-8, Pre-algebra, Algebra I, II and Trigonometry and SAT math section in New York, NY. I give both online courses and in-home tutoring. I hold a Ph.D. in Quantitative political economy from NYU (GPA: 4.0/4.0) and an MA from math intensive Stanford University Economics as a Fulbright Fellow. My test scores, for both Math and Verbal, are in top 2-3% for GRE and top for TOEFL, inclusive of essay writing. I have also published in the prominent political economy journal, Public Choice. I have 7 years of teaching experience for college students (Stanford. NYU) and 4 years of tutoring experience for K12 tutoring. In addition, socially, I have good relations with students as my NYU evaluations would attest to. I am warm and approachable towards students but demanding in terms of their performance. I also worked successfully with several elementary school students in NYC. Earlier, I held various roles in US universities, graduate research/teaching assistant, (NYU/Stanford), post-doctoral fellow (Princeton), and lecturer abroad in international finance (IBEI, Barcelona) and worked for 2 years as a college calculus lecturer in my native country, (Izmir, Turkey). I hold legal permanent residence in NY, USA. I had also successfully passed through extensive background checks and immunization requirements as a voluntary Algebra 1 Teacher at BCTR- Baltimore Teaching Residency in Summer 2017. I love mathematics and love even more studying mathematics with students. I am hard-working, very detail oriented and perseverant. I look forward to helping you in realizing your academic goals!

I received an academic scholarship for the Krannert School of Management, at Purdue University, West Lafayette, when I was 17 years old. I have shown academic excellence ever since. If you need math help, I can get you back on track. There is no problem that can't be solved. We will find the answer together.

Excellent NYC Mathematics Tutor
Hello. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During my undergraduate career, I tutored fellow students in a variety of maths. Upon graduating, I continued to tutor a bariety of math at a local community college until I was able to get my first full time job. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to continue tutoring, but I maintained a love for teaching and training and I always offered to teach and train fellow employees. I have recently obtained a new job which allows me more free time to get back into tutoring as I did enjoy the challenge of teaching such a universally difficult subject. I love math and I am looking into retaking the GRE exams so that I may attend graduate school. I think LearnPick would be a great place to start. I teach all math from elementary school math to pre calculus. I would love to tutor calculus again after some breif relearning. I reside in New York City and would love to either online tutor or tutor in person. I believe in person tutoring is more effective, but online tutoring provides the opportunity to students with busy afterschool schedules. I take joy in tutoring and helping young students to conquer mathematics.
