It is my passion to help students study mathematics. I understand that studying mathematics is not easy, but I am committed to working with you and studying alongside you to help you succeed.

As an Aerospace Engineer, I have worked at Leonardo Helicopters, Airbus Helicopters, and Lilium Aerospace. I am fluent in Italian and English. I am capable of teaching a wide range of scientific subjects, from math to chemistry and physics.

I'm Jasmin, a 27-year-old Mathematics tutor. I live in Woodstock, but I am willing to travel to teach. I have two degrees, one in economics, philosophy, and politics, and a second diploma in Teaching for Mathematics and History. I have tutored a grade 9 student previously, and we were able to elevate her mark to a passable rate in just two months together. I am passionate about pedagogy, learning how people learn, and I enjoy watching people problem solve in their unique ways. I am practising the art of guiding and facilitating someone in figuring out the answers and the ways to find an answer, rather than being completely directive. I want them to remember mathematics for years to come, and not just rote learn to pass an exam. I believe understanding the language of mathematics can change the way you see the world, and having confidence to problem solve mathematical equations can give you confidence in your other abilities. I am mostly qualified to teach up to Grade 10 mathematics, and I am better at helping people understand the foundational concepts upon which the entire language is built.

I am a Chemical Engineer with an Associate ASEAN Engineer certification. With over five years of teaching experience, I have also been tutoring students since my college days. Passionate about education, I enjoy helping others develop a deeper understanding of engineering concepts, with a particular love for mathematics and problem-solving.

From studying in the UK for 11 years I have gained invaluable experience and skills and therefore would like to transfer it on to the next generation of students that are studying in the UK. I am fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and have B1 level proficiency in Spanish, I am also a beginner in Arabic. I am working towards being able to teach Spanish as a language to foreign students and teach Spanish-speaking students maths.
