I had learning difficulties growing up, which makes me more empathetic and understanding towards students. I can provide my students with a healthy and comfortable environment to study and learn, especially neurodivergent students who are very much welcome and accommodated in my classes. My lifelong English journey started with being a research subject and later an intern at CUHK's Bilingualism Research Center. Imbued with a passion for English, I delved deeper into the art both at school (IGCSE and IB) and outside school (various writing competitions and MUN conferences). Despite my proclamations of loving English to bits, I have to say I'm a freshman at HKU Med. The discrepancy is a little odd, I'll admit and explain. Let me quell some other potential doubts about my expertise and experience. Throughout high school, I've consistently been on top of my English class, and subsequently helped a lot of my peers.
