I am bilingual in English and Afrikaans, but I can also speak and understand basic French, Italian, Dutch, and Flemish. I studied Ba. Humanities with majors in Sociology, Psychology, and French. During my time as a student, I began by tutoring first-year French, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I attended DGS until 9th grade and then moved to Boston to attend a private prep school. During my high school years, I assisted teachers during after-school programs at a local elementary school. I also taught ESL English at the Chinatown community center.
