I have teaching experience in the first - second, and third-grade levels. I believe my teaching experience and passion for community engagement make me an ideal tutor. I have worked in the UAE for 13 years and although it was a challenge to teach the English language to these children, it was the most exciting and memorable time of my life. I not only gave them knowledge but I have learnt so much from them and this is why I am so passionate about being a teacher. I have lots of experience incorporating community service projects into my classrooms. For example, as a grade teacher, I led a unit for first-graders on plant life, and we planted plants and trees at our school community garden.
