Naomi received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Pre-medical studies at American University, where she was a teacher assistant for advanced Chemistry. She has also mentored middle school students for years in preparation for their science fair projects. After her undergraduate experience, she spent three years conducting research at Harvard Medical School on Alzheimer’s disease. Next she completed her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she researched fMRI in neurodevelopmental disorder patients. Naomi is motivated to meet students where they are at and prepare lesson plans according to their learning styles. She is passionate about helping students find their own voice through writing and help students study more efficiently. Additionally, she likes to provide helpful tips for successful test taking and staying organized. She offers online and in person sessions.
